Hello night owls! This past weekend I went to the DIY re:make Festival presented by Brit + Co. and it was Ah-mazing! There were so many creative people everywhere and it was awesome to be in such an inspiring space.
It was the first time I had ever been to it and was surprised by how many complimentary DIY projects there were to do. I made a canvas tote, flower crown and there were even free classes to try like water coloring and gold leafing. I couldn’t believe that there was something for everyone of all ages and the best part about it was I got to see Dahlia have fun too — she made a donut coaster and got to color and not to mention run around!
One of the neatest things about the festival was learning about how to reuse something and make it new again. I love recycling and reusing and when I saw the DIY no-sew tote I knew I had to try and it literally took me 5 mins. to do and you know in the Bay Area that reusable bags are everything. So below are the quick instructions on how you can make your no-sew bag too! (Don’t forget to #saversatremake once you make and post it!)
And please enjoy more of the photos from the creative festival!
