We all know wellness should encompass all aspects of your well-being, especially for babies! Playtime and music are an integral part of the first months of life. So, a couple of months before I started my blog, my friend Crystal and I had planned a play date to have our babies meet for the first time. She had her very handsome boy, Avery, about a month after I had Dahlia and we couldn’t wait for them to finally meet.
Crystal & her husband, Vern, set up a wonderful afternoon at DayOne Baby in the San Francisco location (they also have a Palo Alto location) and enrolled us into the Musical Play for Babies class. (You can register for your first class for free online on their website.)
The class was super fun & interactive!
The teacher played guitar…
We made music with little egg maracas…
We got to play & bang on the big drum…
We got to sing with puppets…
We were very good listeners!
We danced with our mommies…
…and our daddies! (who traded in their basketballs for us babies!)
But most of all, we had fun playing with each other!
…please excuse the nursing bras in the background 🙂 and take some time to sing & play today!
